Gildan at CMA Music Festival
Leading activewear supplier, Gildan set out to cultivate brand awareness and increase product sales by engaging thousands of CMA Music Festival patrons in a fun, interactive environment.
In 2011, Gildan not only set out to break the Guinness World Record for Largest T-shirt they shattered it. The T-shirt which measured 180.0 ft in width and 281.3ft in length – nearly the size of a football field – beat the previous Guinnes World Record set in 2010.
In 2012, Gildan sought to make a greater impression at CMA Music fest by connecting directly with consumers. The "Gildan Game Room” destination was created in Fan Fair Hall, where festival-goers played entertaining games to win commemorative CMA Gildan T- shirts, blankets, hoodies, koozies and socks.
Over the past two years, more than 31,000 Gildan-branded premiums have been delivered to appreciative CMA Festival patrons. The Gildan brand has gained large amounts of exposure among country fans with festival attendance leveraging 320,000 each year. Gildan’s goals were exceeded amongst this country-loving crowd by both strengthening Gildan’s reputation and increasing their brand loyalty in the activewear market.
